Ellie has overall responsibility for The Cheviot
Trust, including the day to day operation of the office in Southend and all
strategic and tactical issues facing the Board. She also provides consultancy
services to other organisations and trustee boards.
Ellie joined Cheviot in October 1992. Prior to this, she spent four years with
a top London law firm as a pensions lawyer. She holds a Batchelor of Arts (Law)
degree.
Ellie retains a strong interest in the impact of legislation on pensions and
the responsibilities of trustee bodies. In addition, the last four years in
particular have required that Ellie focus intently on investment strategy and
implementation.
