Cheviot’s in-house administration team provides services to both employers and members.

The team

The Cheviot administration team manages the pensions and financial administration of all the various schemes. With a wealth of pensions administration and financial experience, our team is tasked to deliver an excellent service to employers and members.

Service standards

All administration cases are measured against a five-day service standard. The Trustee expects 95% of cases to be completed within this timeframe other than in exceptional circumstances. This service standard has been met consistently over the last 12 months. It is usually the same administrator who deals with a case from start to finish, and everyone on the team has direct dial numbers. This continuity of service and understanding of the case makes it easier for both the employer and the member.

External assurance

In addition to achieving authorisation, Cheviot has commissioned external audit reports to review its processes and controls since 2016, using both the 02/07 (Master Trust) and 01/06 (Internal Control) Audit Assurance Frameworks.
